As a smaller and newer institution, NU London is excited to announce its first-ever study abroad opportunities to 2023 entry students!
You’ll have the chance to spend the second semester of your 2nd year at one of NU London’s partner institutions in the USA, to gain invaluable international study experience.
NU London has some exciting links with its partner universities in the USA! You could study at one of their campuses in Boston, Massachusetts or Oakland, California.

Northeastern University in Boston is right at the centre of everything you’ll need as a student. It's in the heart of the university district and within walking distance of all the city’s main attractions - including parks, museums and theatres!
Mills College has a huge 135-acre campus with beautiful architecture and green spaces. Mills College prides itself on its links to the vibrant local communities in the city, which will give you diverse cultural and learning experiences, whatever your subject.
Northeastern University was founded in 1898 as a global, experiential, research-led university. It’s in the top 50 US universities and is home to 20,000 students from all over the world!
You won’t have any additional tuition fees to pay if you choose to take the semester abroad in the US.
You will have to cover accommodation, food, flights, travel, insurance, and other living costs. However, NU London offers many travel and maintenance bursaries for students who would be unable to take up the opportunity without additional financial support.
Boston is one of the most historically significant cities in the USA. It’s home to many of the USA’s ‘firsts’: first public park, first subway, first police force, first university, first lighthouse, first chocolate factory, first female marathon runner - you name it!
Oakland is home to the oldest Fortune Cookie Factory! This factory also invented the Fortune Cookie Folding Machine!
