Every college has its own doctor so you’ll need to register with them upon your arrival. In addition, for minor health issues, you might like to see your college nurse instead. Some colleges even have sickbays, so you’ll be well taken care of!
College staff include welfare officers that are on hand to help you settle into college life and assuage any worries you may have. Your college welfare team can also signpost you towards more specialist wellbeing services if you need them.
When you join Oxford University, you also join one of its colleges. When you apply you can select your preferred college (or submit an ‘open’ application), but ultimately, your offer could come from another college. But don’t worry, colleges become like family, and we’re sure whichever college you join, it’ll prove to be a fantastic experience.
