Overall Liverpool was ranked 21st in the UK (Complete University Guide 2023) and 176th in the world (Times Higher Education 2023). Top stuff!

The main campus is in the heart of Liverpool where you can benefit from being close to the coastline, lots of green spaces and of course - city life!

Liverpool also has a partner uni in Suzhou, China! So if you fancy a pretty cool learning experience abroad, Liverpool gives the opportunity to study in China to all of its students!

Liverpool is well known for its welcoming atmosphere, and to prove it, it was voted as fourth friendliest city in the world by Rough Guides!

It’s a vibrant and characterful city that fully embraces its rich diversity and positive outlook. Famous for the Albert Docks and of course The Beatles, Liverpool’s cobbled streets have been many famous people’s stomping ground.

Sustainability at Liverpool

If you’re into environmental sustainability don’t miss out on Liverpool's Ness botanic gardens - they’re spread across 64 acres and feature a diverse variety of plants and planting areas!

The main Liverpool campus has a relaxed mowing regime, are a hedgehog friendly campus, and are at the end of phase one of the largest ecological assessment to be conducted at the uni! (We’re particularly fond of their building inspection to assess suitability for roosting bats!)

Courses at Liverpool

Liverpool Uni offers a wide range of single-subject courses, but also offers combined and tailored degrees where you study two subjects jointly (50/50) or as a major and a minor (75/25)! Flexibility is the keynote to success, we heard!

Liverpool offers a whopping 4500 rooms to students in its popular Greenbank student village and at City campus.

There are on and off-campus accommodation options that offer both catered and self-catered rooms, as well as priority rooms available for those with disability or medical requirements.

Finance at Liverpool

The University of Liverpool offers some fantastic scholarship opportunities ranging from £1000 fee reductions to £6000 living cost grants!

Eligibility criteria are different for each one, so make sure you check them out and see what you might qualify for!
