A BUZZING CAMPUS

The Uni of Essex actually comprises of 3 campuses - the main one being at Colchester (Britain’s oldest recorded town). Southend-on-sea and Loughton house the other two, and they’re all nestled into the county of Essex!

The county of culture!

Essex is a vibrant county, home to a quirky mix of modern and traditional towns and villages. Chelmsford is Essex’s first (and only!) city, which is bustling with shops and restaurants all year round.

Essex also has one of the longest coastlines in England. Mersea, an island (linked to the mainland by the Strood) is world-famous for its oysters and shellfish.

In addition to traditional degrees, Essex also offers apprenticeships, short courses, summer school, and opportunities to study abroad!
